A Laid-Back 4th of July Celebration for Two
Skip the crowded parties and plan a relaxed evening just for the two of you. Pack a picnic basket with your favorite finger foods...think sliders, hotdogs, chips and dip, watermelon slices, or festive red, white, and blue treats.
Bring a cozy blanket, some drinks on ice, and head to a spot where you can watch fireworks (a local park, beach, or even your own backyard).
As the sun sets, play patriotic trivia or ask each other “freedom-themed” questions like, “What’s one thing you want more freedom from this year?” or “What’s a dream we haven’t chased yet?”
Then snuggle up as the fireworks start, letting the moment remind you that love deserves to be celebrated too.
What You’ll Need:
A picnic blanket and cooler
Finger foods, festive snacks, and drinks
Lawn chairs (if you want to stay off the ground)
Bug spray and light jackets if it gets chilly
A list of fireworks displays nearby (or sparklers for your own mini show!)
If your American or Not, this is a great way to enjoy a night out.
