š Date Night Idea: Haunted but Holding Hands
Iāll be honest⦠a few years ago, my husband and I decided to try something fun and a little outside our norm...we went to a haunted corn maze.
Now, Iām not a big fan of jump scares, and he pretends like heās not either, but let me tell you⦠we laughed, screamed, and clung to each other the whole time.
And somewhere between getting spooked by a guy with a chainsaw and trying to find our way out in the dark, we felt like just two people having fun, relying on each other, and letting go of the stress weād been carrying.
That night reminded me that sometimes laughter and adrenaline can break down walls faster than a heavy talk ever could.
š§” Hereās How to Plan Yours:
1. Pick your Halloween adventure:
Head out to a haunted house, a spooky hayride, or a pumpkin walk after dark. Donāt overthink it. Youāre not doing this for Instagram, youāre doing it to connect through fun and shared experience.
2. Hold hands. Stay close. Laugh at yourselves.
Seriously. Itās not about who gets scared first, itās about showing up for each other and making a memory together.
3. Wind down at home afterward:
Make hot apple cider or spiked cocoa
Light a candle or put on string lights for a cozy vibe
Watch a favorite Halloween movie (Hocus Pocus, Sleepy Hollow, or even something silly like Hotel Transylvania)
Most importantly, have fun together...
